Why you should always turn off the power!


When changing a light bulb you should expect that no easily accessible parts of the bulb are live or suddenly become live. That, of course, requires correct wiring. Looking at the socket above, the right contact should always be the neutral one.

The wiring was correct when this lamp was installed, but take a close look at those sockets. Someone at the factory didn’t have a good day.
